What is the name of your state? illinois

is there a time limit on when someone can contest a will
i have a brother who received the house, property, and
furnishings of my mothers house when she died (all but 15 feet on one side which she willed to another brother) the brother with the house & property wants to contest the will to get the other 15 feet back. there are 10 kids in this family and the rest were ok with him getting what he got, noone else got anything.
she died 2 years ago, how long do we have to put up with the one brothers ramblings?

With a matter of this importance, you need to be talking to a local probate attorney about this since an Illinois probate attorney is probably not reading this message board. The time limit for contesting is usually 1 year after the estate closes in some states.
