What is the name of your state? Washington-can you have a will in Texas and a will in Washington? Are the dates on the will the significant factor on which one is legal?
My response:
It's not only the dates which are important, but also whether the latest dated Will "withdraws" all previous Wills.
Courts do whatever they can to give "life" or "validity" to a Will. So, if it discernible on the face of the Will, the court will only accept the last written Will. Remember, it's called a "Last Will" and Testament - - not "The Will from 1985 Despite The Fact That There's a Will From 1999."
If there's a problem that the court is unable to rectify, the court will invalidate all Wills, and Probate the Estate as if the decedent had died without a Will; i.e., "Intestate".
