my father passed away 3 years ago and his will was probated. he owned a mobile home with a morgage that was not his primary residence. my mother can no longer afford the payments and is elderly and can not handle the hassle of renting it out to anyone. my question is if she defaults on this loan can it be held against her through my fathers estate and how long is there an estate? her name does not appear on the loan or the mobile home. can she have the morgage company come and pick it up. she lives in georgia and that is where the will was executed and probated.
