What is the name of your state? Pa

a quick question about a workers comp court hearing....my husband has been on compensation for a few years now....his impairment rating is high....but hes also very young.....we have been trying to settle his case...he just wants to move on and settle.....well a few years back we had a lawyer....that didn't help us too much...so we got rid of him and hired another....who currently represents us in this case.....all parties involved have recently come to an agreement and so our lawyer filed a petition to settle in court....we recieved something in the mail today saying that our old lawer would be representung the Insurance company....isn't tht a conflict of interests?? it is ethical and legal???

thanks....

sounds strange

are you sure that's what the letter said? if so, i believe it is a conflicit of interest as the attorney has "inside info" about your husband's case. you should immediately advise your current attorney about this situation, and maybe even contact your state bar association.
