What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Ca

Hello my girlfriend has been off for almost a year for a contested work comp injury. She claimed stress and anxiety, anyhow she's been on her jobs short term insurance and it's almost expired and she wants to try n go back to work at the same place. What if it doesn't work out can she go back on disability after working 40 hrs?

temporary disability for workers compensation in california is limited to 104 weeks and does not have to be consecutive.
non-industrial disability or a priviate disability policy has different rules and you would have to check with the disability insurance policy or the carrier for that information.

So what if she maxes out the 104 weeks n sees after a couple of weeks at work that she can't handle it. And is instructed not to quit by her attorney? Can she go on for another 104 weeks or is that it n it's done?
