What is the name of your state? CA

I have an "Award for Future Medical Treatment," stipulated
to in 1992. It is for an injury I suffered, as a claims adjuster,
in 1991. It states I am entitled to "weekly massages and
monthly chiropractic." Periodically, my claim is handled by a
new adjuster who decides they can make changes or new
demands (from my providers). Yesterday, my massage
therapist advised me that SCIF now says I am only able to
receive monthly massages and that each time I appear for
treatment, SCIF must be called for authorization (before
treatment starts).

I know that "unilateral decisions" are illegal and that any
changes (by either party) must be requested by a "Petition,"
within five years from the date of the award. Since that's
come & gone, I can't find any rules & regs. to state changes
like stated above are acceptable.

Please let me know if I'm mistaken.

Thank you,

Jeff
