| | Help! What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? CA.
Ten years ago I was in a workplace accident. At the time I wasn't chemical sensitive, but have become so. My body worked up a certain resistance, and I was doing well, finished a degree, and started a job. I never divulged that I had a previous workmans comp claim, or that I had any health issues. Last year, I went to a doctor about rosacae and informed him of my sensitivity and was given some medicine that made me more sensitive. I work in a cubicle environment, and for the last 1 1/2 years have not had a problem at work. Then I got into an altercation with a co-worker six weeks ago, who then after a few days used chemicals, knowing of my sensitivity. I reported it, and requested no one use chemicals. One of the acting supervisors who was aware of the situation the other day asked the lady who used the cleaning solutions to clean an office across from mine. I have had a reaction. I requested to go to the doctor, but I am concerned that I will get in trouble since I didn't divulge that I had a workmans comp claim before. I work for a County, and have been under scrutiny, they are probably trying to get rid of me. I don't want to give them ammunition to do it, but I want to protect myself. I think I need to have my chemical sensitivity documented, just in case I am not able to work in this type of situation anymore. What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? |

Which chemicals tend to be the triggers?
