What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? maryland I was injured at work where I was waitressing. At the time of my accident, my then employers were uninsured. Now 3-4 weeks into my case they all of a sudden have insurance. How is it possible for an insurance company to take over my case unless they lied to the insurance company and told them that I was still employed there. That would be like getting insurance on a car that you no longer have.
