I live in Oklahoma. I was injured at work. We had a brief time where we had ice, I had slipped and hurt my knee in an attempt to catch myself. I've worked for the employer for almost 8 years, and have been extremely loyal to the company and have never had an injury nor missed work because of health reasons. Now since I got injured, my Employer, treats me as if I'm attempting to steal from him. Often times, he talks down to me, or questions if i really got hurt. The morning I fell, the swelling grew to the size of a grapefruit and I was unable to walk. There were about 4 witnesses and some even helped me to a vehicle to drive me back so i could sit down somewhere. When my boss found out, he refused to let me leave work, and came up with excuses till it was almost the end of the work day. Only then I was able to leave. I went to an urgent care facility where I thought MY own insurance would cover, but when i explained what happened, they told me that it was a Workers Compensation Injury.
I filled out the form and they contacted my employer and he immediately called me. He told me to leave that urgent care and go to a different one and tell them that I fell at home. When i refused, he started screaming at me and telling me that I was faking and trying to steal from him. After about 20 minutes of me being in total shock and trying to reason with him, he agreed to pay out of pocket for all expenses. I saw the urgent care for a follow up and they said that i needed to see a specialist for possible muscle damage. I went to a specialist, and had to go through payment problems with my employer because he gave 3 bad credit card numbers and was barely able to make my appointment. Only later did i find out after looking up the company, did i realize that our employer had NO workers comp insurance on anyone.
My employer complained about how long everything took, and when i tried to tell him that since he wouldn't file the claim, things took longer to approve. He said i was lying, but in much more vulgar words. 7 weeks later, I finally get my results back and there are no tears, and that i just had a sprain, but due to the fact that I still cannot put weight on my leg, I could have a pinched nerve.
I was injured Feb.10th, and he paniced and got insurance Feb.20th. He says his insurance wants copies of everything otherwise they are going to hold my next check. I told him that isn't legal, and that both the urgent care and specialist have already mailed/faxed him all the stuff since he paid out of pocket for everything. I then asked him what the insurance provider's name and claim number was, so i too could have it on file, and he said I have no right to have it. Now he says that soon as i'm back, hes going to make me make up for time lost and he will get his 7 weeks of "free money" I got from him.

I am a full time employee, not a contract worker, even though he illegally filed me as a contract worker both 2 and 3 years ago to avoid paying taxes.

My questions are:
IF he really did file a claim, which i don't think he did, can they hold my check? I thought only if there is a wage deduction, or if state/fed was taking more or holding.
Can I quit and still get Unemployment due to his threats, mistreatment during injury, and with all the illegal things hes doing with the company?
Even though my results show that DO NOT have any tearing of muscles, am I legally allowed to obtain a copy of his insurance claim, if he said he filed on?
Can I also fix my taxes the 2 years he filed me as a contract worker and not as an employee, the whole 8 years, I've worked the same hours, if not more, under the same conditions, but those 2 years he filed me, I ended up owing 8,000 in taxes one year, then another 6,000 the next. Do I have any grounds to stand?
How would I go about leaving the company safely without losing my benefits from state, IE unemployment?

*Note: I also have recently have been told that hes been doing many illegal things with the company (not claiming cash paying customers, charging tax on labor, having checks signed to him personally and not the company and forcing customers to leave the check note blank and then not claiming the checks under the company. I send him a photo of the logs and invoices he throws away everyday, so i have photos of almost 4 years of proof and no invoices he can furnish. from checks and cash with taxes he doesn't claim, in 1 year, estimate around 80k-100k of unclaimed funds he doesn't tell the government about. Can I claim whistle blower status? Since I'm a manager of the company, i do NOT want to go down with him.

Sorry if I'm so scrambled in my explanation. I'm desperate and not sure what to do. I'm also horrible at these forums so I apologize for the horrible format and structure.

first you need to contact the OK Work Comp Commission.
http://ok.gov/wcc/

Tell them your story

Second, I would seek an attorney well-versed in OK work comp law.
