Jammed

Advice is critical right now and I feel like I’m rolling the dice, here goes. I work for a state agency in California; I have been off for almost 3 months with out any diagnosis yet, still seeing specialist. I contend stress is cause for the out break of a hidden problem. I was recommended by my union representative, to see a specific workman’s comp. attorney, turns out that the union and my plant manager just “won” a case against another UNION in the same work place. The union and my manager have egg on their face for the other UNION did not pull their workers from the positions the manager had won, costing the state a great deal of payroll in this time of budget restraints. I favored the other UNION because it’s ethical and is in the job description. I intend to sue or settle to get back wages and lost time. Is there a conflict of interest with this workman’s comp. Attorney?
Need advice now please. Thanks

How could working with this particular WC attorney result in a conflict of interest for him? He has no involvement in the situation you describe.
