What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
I recently moved back to Oregon, after living in NY for the last 3 years. I was injured on the job, hired an attorney in New York, but they have not done what they were supposed to do for me. Since being back in Oregon, my Employer's insurance carrier was authorized to continue any treatment I required, but they have givin me the the run around.
I have had to do all of the leg work myself. They have said through all of there search engines, they have no resources her in Oregon. The Oregon doctor's have the right to refuse within there practice any Workers' Compensation case they desire. Especially an out of state W.C. case. So I finally found a Doctor who will be willing to take me on as his patient, but the employer insurance carrier will not fax over an agreement stating that they will cover the Oregon schedule fee. It's against there policy, but they will pay standard and customary for my area. There should be no problem's then. I have left message after message for the W.C. attorney's, Employeer's insurance carrier, even contacted the W.C. Board, and no one returns my calls.
I need to let go off the Attorney I do have in New York, who has not done there job. Therefor I can then find an Attorney here in Oregon, who has a liscense to practice in New York.
Does anyone know of an Attorney in Oregon who can practice in NY?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
