My WC case(May 2001) originated in NYC but, I have since moved to Georgia. I need to get an IME or scheduled loss of use examination. I can't seem to find any doctors in Georgia that would perform this exam according to NYS guideline. Additionally, they want me to pay($1000) upfront for this exam even though I have an letter from my atty that states AIG has authorized the exam and will be responsible for payment. Anyone know how I can find a doctor here in GA that follows NYS medical guidelines?What is the name of your state?
