What is the name of your state?California- my husband was hit with a cellphone thrown by another employee during an argument on the jobsite. As a result, he was hospitalized for five days, underwent 3 hours of emergency surgery, and is now permanently blind in his right eye. The owner of the company he works for denied that it's a workmans comp issue because it was an altercation. The truth is that he does not have workmans comp. It also appears as though the employer has been taking SDI out of husbands paycheck, yet when we applied for disability he shows 0 income since 1997. He's worked for this company nine and a half years. I know this is not brief but I am looking for answers. Any suggestions?
