What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Oklahoma
I was injured on the job. In nov 10 when I reported it I lost my job. I hired a lawYer and my case went in front of a judge in April 2011 I win the case but the other side filed an appeal. It is now July 18 and my lawyer says that we have not got a date for the appeal to be heard. I'm not fighting for money I still fighting to be seen by a back specialist. Question how long does it take for an appeal to be settled ?

This answer won't help you but it takes as long as it takes. There are many, many matters in the que with the State for an appeal hearing. Your attorney is in the best position to give you an estimate of how many months it will take before the appeal is scheduled to be heard.
