Can you be separated from your employment while you still have a workers comp case pending?
What is the difference between being seperated from the company and being terminated? Is it because I am still disabled and can collect pension?

"Can you be separated from your employment while you still have a workers comp case pending?" Yes, in some cases. It depends upon your state law, how long you have been out of work, how big your company is, how long you have worked for them, the status of your condition, and a couple of other factors as well, but depending on the exact circumstances, it's certainly possible. They don't have to hold your job open forever.

"What is the difference between being seperated from the company and being terminated? " Nothing. It's semantics, that's all.
