Recurrent Bilateral Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Tennessee

In 2005, I had surgery to both wrist to correct carpal tunnel and remove 2 ganglion cyst. The worker's comp doctor gave me a final impairment rating of 7% disability in both hands. I was given a lump sum 5 months after receiving rating and losing my job. It was 5 more months before I found other employment, I suffer loss and humiliation not being able to adequately provide for my three children. It is 2009 and bilateral cts has return and 1 ganglion has also returned. It is much more painful and radiates to my entire left side. The doctor suggest another surgery but I reluctant. My current employeer states if I have to have surgery, I will be replace by another employee immediately. I have open medical from former employeer, what about loss of wages after surgery. My job skills relate to the same type of work for the past 22 years, what are my options?
