If an employee on WC is asked to settle by the WC insurance company, can the WC company demand that the employee quit his job in order to receive settlement? I have seen this done when legal actions have been taken by the claimant but never with a normal claim. He is back on full duty and has reached MMI. He is now in a permanent supervisory position that keeps him in an office all day and off the job that he worked when his injury occured. Does anyone know if this right?
