What is the name of your state? California, Does anyone know why if you had a large overpayment from unemployment like $5000. and you want to repay it and they just sent you the amount of your current benefit award being $10,000. Why will they only take the principle amount of $3,500. and not the interest $1,500. It would seem as long as the money is there to repay this debt in full they would just take the whole amount, but they said other arrangements would have to be made including possible wage garnishment. Can someone explain please? Thanks
