Hi am posting for a friend...over a year ago he was injured on the job. Looking to find out info on how ones wages are paid while on WC. For the past 9 moths he recieved his normal pay (was put on lite duty for 3 months). This week he got a paycheck at less than half of what he been getting. His stub says something about disability insurance. Not too sure, haven't seen it. He is TTD.
What is the normal way to be paid while on TTD? And does he qualify for SDI if it is less than his normal pay? What about SS?
