work comp quwstionWhat is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? mo I have gotten injured back on 12/08/2008 and i have had an lawyer since but he seems to be blowing me off at every question I have. I have only received very few dollars from workmans comp and i have lost a tremendous amount of time from work due to my injury. (back injury) and he seems not to be fighting to get me weekly benifits from the insurance company. He keeps telling me he will get the money at the end of the suit. No If I am hurt on the job and my employer says there is no light duty work for me and has not fired me and says that they have no light duty work for me till i am off or work restrictions from the doctor is the insurance company for work comp supposed to be paying me benifits on a weekly basis. thanks |

| Yes, if you are off work due to a work related injury, they should be paying TTD payments. Your AA sounds like he dragging his feet, stay on him and make him earn his %. Has he filed any petition yet? Have they send you to an IME yet? If dissatisfied with your AA, find a better one and he/she will split the award with the first one. Also, your work won't hold your job for very long, I regret to say.. Good Luck & Keep Fighting**************.. |
