My question is what is the statute of limitations in Texas for lewd act. My wife was in a club drinking when a man came up to her just coming on to her got kind of upset when she kept brushing him off finally she grabbed him by the privates and squeezed told him off and left. This was 2 days before we moved to Florida well come to find out he called the police and they put a warrant out for her arrest that was 4 years ago and we are just now finding out.We dont have the money to go back to Texas for her to go to court and all that so can someone help.

If there is a warrant then the SOL is no longer an issue. The warrant will remain unless recalled or served.

Understand that the SOL is the time that the state has to initiate court action ... the presence of a warrant indicates that court action has been initiated.
