Max, you said the name of your state was Florida.

You wanted to know if there was a chance of you getting into trouble for using a fake credit card. You used one of those fake card generators advertised online.

The answer to your question is "yes."

It is fraud. It can also be theft or attempted theft.

You might be lucky and escape any criminal charges with this first experiment of yours in using a fake credit card. I strongly advise you do not try to use a fake card again.

No such thing as "attempted theft." An unsuccessful attempt to steal is still theft.

From the statute:

(1) A person commits theft if he or she knowingly obtains or uses, or endeavors to obtain or to use, the property of another with intent to, either temporarily or permanently:
