I recently settled a landlord tenant matter in which the plaintiff put a negative listing on my credit report. I filed a petition for an order to satisfy with the cooperation of the plaintiff. I would like to know what my rights are with having this negative information removed from my credit report. Am I responsible for having it removed, and if so, how do I go about it? If I am not responsible, how do I pursue having it removed from my report?
