What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Michigan
I recently purchased a home and moved in 5/14/16 around the 5/21/16 from Arizona. I began noticing bed bug bites approximately a week later. :eek:Every day after that I got bit. I had exterminator come by and treat. There was already infestations beginning under my couch per exterminator. Question, if the bed bugs were here in the house before I moved in (which I believe they were) are there any legal remedies against agents or seller. I lived in Arizona at same place for over 6 years and never had one bed bug! Please advise.

There is a chance that the bed bugs came as a result of your move from Arizona (hitching a ride in the moving van, or boxes or crates, or packing material) and were not in the house prior to your move. I do not see that you will have an easy time connecting the infestation to the seller or the agent.

I agree with quincy. However, there is also a chance that this bedbugs are in before you moved into the house. That is one reason why you need to have a person (inspector/surveyor) who will check up the entire house before moving in.
