What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

I was recently informed and have witnessed that me ex's "other" child was attacked by their pit bull. The "other" child had his entire left side of face ripped apart. I have filed a sheriff report to make sure the child is safe and being properly taken care of, my question is can this be held against him in court? I see that the child was or was supposed to be in "their care" when this happened and look! I feel my childs safety would be put at risk of it happening to him. Since I already filed a sheriff report, i have that documented as well. This is something extremely serious especially because i was told the "other" child needed reconstructive surgery with how bad the attack was. I am concerned about my childs safety if he is supposed to start getting him.

Also i believe he had a "fake" person call my phone restricted pretending to be someone from the courthouse. They pretended to yell at me and continued to talk about the visits. I then went up to the court house so i can talk to this "person" and guess what! nobody knew what i was talking about. I did have someone write a letter from the court house stating this. This has created a problem for us and I have cut all communication with my ex, he now has to go through my mother for everything. Can I present this as well?

Then share your concerns with the child's father. Why is court the only option? That is bad that any child was attacked by a dog, but you as 1/2 of the child's parents needs to share with the other parent your concerns. You need to know if they have taken any actions to prevent this from happening in the future. Do they still have the dog?

I have never had a child bit or attacked by a dangerous pit bull. and nothing has ever happened to my children while in MY care. Look at what has happened to his "other" child

I am protecting my child and if refusing to give my child up to him is what it takes so be it the sheriff already has been to their home to investigate
