So I recently filed online through the state of Illinois for child support for my 3 kids. Almost two months later his other child’s mother of one, who had not been in the picture for years, filed for child support as well. Bc she lives in another state they got to her case recently and I’m just now getting contacted by state to proceed...my question is if I filed first will that go into consideration? Or bc they got to her case quicker am I pretty much screwed and get less for 3 kids than she gets for 1? Is there anything I should do?
