What is the name of your state? NY

Okay I escaped the layoff 2 weeks ago only to laid off Today. I filed Chapter 7 BK with my attorney. Does the file have to be modified to reflect the layoff??? I only ask because my attorney charges for any changes after filing and obviously I don't have any extra money right now. Any help would be appreciated.

Since your case is already a chapter 7 (liquidation) I doubt that the loss of your employment will affect that. If it were a chapter 13 (reorganization) it would. However, be sure to notice your attorney of your change.
