    Contract signed 4 years ago

What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? NY

I got married 4 years ago and paid my photographer in full. We have not yet chosen the photos for our album and when I tried to get the ball rolling, the photographer said he sold the business and the new owner is only honoring contracts within 3 years, according to NYS law. Is this accurate? Do I have any recourse?

Contact the new owner. If he still has your photos, pay him what he wants and get them.

This is your own fault for waiting 4 years.

No judge is going to side with you on this.
