What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? California: What to do if I remarried not knowing that my divorce from my first husband wasn't finalized?
My previous husband passed away last night. Am I single now or do I need to still file an annulment from my second "husband"?

You need a consult with a local attorney. Its possible that your second marriage is now valid because your first husband is deceased. Its just safer to make sure that no legal action is necessary as to the second marriage.
