My cousin in Oregon is separated from her husband.. has been for a few months now she kicked him out when she found out he was dealing drugs, she was saving money to relocate to mississippi where the rest of our family is and 2 weeks before she is to leave her husband whom she is separated for because of his chosen lifestyle, got arrested. The cops in the town she lives in questioned her, and she told them that yes she knew he was dealing drugs that's why she kicked him out, she didnt report him because it's her kids father. So the cops told her she isn't to leave town. There is no court order stating that she cant leave and she has no summons for anything they just said they may have more questions in the future. She was wanting to move for a better life for her kids and herself. Is there any legal ramifications if she just packs up and leaves?
