What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
Are you in Minnesota as well?

Vehicles purchased "as is" should be inspected by a trusted mechanic prior to purchase. Water and mold damage would have been discovered if properly inspected.

I forgot to add: The purchaser of the used vehicle sold "as is" has no legal action to pursue against the seller of the vehicle (based on what has been presented here).

"AS is"

This was an online auction sale, nothing posted mentioned water or mold damage, one total side, slide out and floor all damaged. How can you sell something that is not useable? This is in Minnesota.

If a vehicle is sold "as is," the purchaser is taking a risk in buying it.

Thanks! So a business can sell trash legally "as is" today's world!
That is pretty much the case, yes, absent any law that says they can't.

It is up to the purchaser to take proper precautions when buying used items sold as is.

Sorry.

Complain to the auction house about the poor / inaccurate listing.

Maybe they have some purchase protection available, or will at least lodge your negative feedback.

Why do you think things are sold at auction?

Answer: Because the stuff is trash by the time it gets to the auction and the people who buy it, get it cheap enough so they can make some money by either fixing it up and reselling it or dismantling it for salvage.

Auctions are no place for amateurs who don't know what they are doing.
