Do like my children suggest when I told them I had no money. Mom, just write a check.:confused:

Maybe the toothfairy will arrive under MY pillow for a change.

I don’t know if I would do it, but I kind of liked the operator job someone posted about earlier. Its gotta be good money, flexible hours… As broke as many FA visitors are, it’s pretty smart.
Are you speaking of the poster who wanted that night job that required her to be in her room while the children were sleeping? First, I'd be totally grossed out. Second, I'm sitting here thinking already... how much longer should I stay up... and it's only 8:30

I've heard you can get about $5 a tooth these days. I like soup. I can adjust...
There are some days the toothfairy found $5 in her wallet ... othertimes, she had to sacrifice her dollar coins :mad:

And the going rate for sitters is like $10-$12/hour. I've thought about doing that part-time. I know how to change diapers and burp babies .. well, I sorta remember vaguely :D:eek:

When Stink was first born and I was still in college, my mother used to do me the favor of babysitting at night while I was in class. First night I came home, his diaper was on backwards (tapes in the back). Granted, it had been YEARS since she had to change a diaper. She figured, on little girls, the picture on underwear goes in the back on their bottom... same should be with diapers, so she put it on with the picture strip in the back. I'm still trying to figure out 12 years later how she managed to get that on him...:eek:

Damn I miss all the fun. Why did I go to work today.

Anyone like skyline drive???? i live 3 miles from the gateway in virginia, BUT i live 25 miles away from the nearest walmart:eek:

From the time that Wild and Unruly were 2 until they were potty trained, they had to wear their diapers backwards and DUCT TAPED. Otherwise, they were nekkid in 2 seconds flat.

Twain has discovered how to untape his diapers... but not how to take off his pants. So very often, his diaper is not really ON him, but he's not really naked.

Pull-ups are a serious waste of money.

I used REAL training pants. Pull ups don't let 'em feel that they're wet. Real training pants? Seriously uncomfortable. The girls were potty trained in a week.

But my mom is a sick woman. She wants to buy THIS for Twain...

I haven't had a hurricane since Mardi Gras in 99. Gawd that was a good time.

QUOTE]

I haven't had a hurricane since 1985, and on that particular occasion I had SIX. I remember the conversation with the policeman as something like this:

"Your friend is taking a little nap huh?"

"Yes Sir"

"Been to Pat O'Brien's haven't you?" (Our bag of 1 dozen souvenir glasses might have been a clue)

"Yes Sir"

"Had a little too much to drink?" (again, same clue)

"Yes Sir"

"You don't plan to drive that car do you?"

"No Sir" (although I was sitting in the driver's seat)

"Well, I suggest that you lock up tight and join your friend in a little nap. I will check on you from time to time and when you wake up, you get yourself some Hurricane cure from that little cafe over there and then you can drive home."

"Yes Sir"

Worst hangover of my life.

It's the thought of some REALLY old man saying something like..... spank me baby or all that gross deep breathing that sounds like I'm having an asthma attack that gets me. Makes me want to lend someone my inhaler.

but I like your future phone number...
