Then you need to give SPECIFICS.

In order to change custody in almost every state, one has to prove that there has been a substantial change in the circumstances of the CUSTODIAN and/or the CHILD/REN. THEN one has to prove that the best interests of the children will be best served by changing custody.

Google 'Best interest factors + texas + child custody'.

desires of the Child;

the emotional and physical needs of the child now and in the future;

the emotional and physical danger to the child now and in the future;

the parental abilities of the individuals seeking custody;

the programs available to assist these individuals to promote the best interest of the child;

the plans for the child by these individuals or by the agency seeking custody;

the stability of the home or proposed placement;

the acts or omissions of the parent which may indicate that the relationship is not a proper one; and any excuse for the acts or omissions of the parent.

Good girl.

Now take those VERY GENERAL guidelines and apply the VERY GENERAL standard of 'substantial change in the circumstances of the custodian or the child/ren' and apply them to your VERY GENERAL outline of a 'maybe a case' that was 'maybe spit out of the legal system' and see how far you get.

Unless a judge wants to issue an appealable ruling, and they rarely do, then he/she HAS TO comply with statute. And statute requires what we've already stated.

Now, if you have SPECIFIC incidents of behaviors/whatever that you would like to have assessed from a legal point of view, fine.

But no one here is going to play this what-if game.

Don't blame it on being from the South. I've lived in the South all my life, and I knew what SP was saying. :rolleyes:
And I'll wager that you know how to do your own homework / research. And that you also know how to use Google.

After all, Al "Invented the Internet" Gore hails from Tennessee. ;)
