What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? Colorado
How can I get my personal belongings,There is a order of protection on me,my x roomate tells my son he can come and get my things then changes her mind when its time to get them,this keeps happening over and over.
what can I do?What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?

Talk to the police. Explain that there is a restraining order and that your ex roommate is not cooperating with allowing your son to pick up your belongings, and ask for their assistance as an escort for your son.

Just to add to this...the process is called a Civil Standby.;)

The police will only allow you to take your most important things...ie... documents, clothing, jewelry... NOT t.v's, sound systems and the living room couch. You may have to take you ex to small claims for larger items.
