Does anyone know the law for reposession in Illinois? Is there a certian amount of time a car financing company has before they can do so?

A vehicle can be repossessed the day after a the account becomes past due. Most lenders give 60 to 90 days to become current. Your's and the lender's rights and responsibilities are spelled out in your loan agreement, now might be a good time to read it.
