What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? connecticut. If someone doesn't have a job now but always made lots of money in the past, will a judge still order him to pay child support? This person works construction and hasn't filed his income tax returns since he owes over 250,000 to the irs from bad business deals, over 20 years ago. What will he have to bring to court for proof of income or lack thereof? He has remarried and supposedly only works on the house that he built for his wife of the last two years. The house is in her name. Would I be able to go after him for some of the equity in thier home since that appears to be his only job? Will a judge order support based on past tax return forms and if so how far back would they go? Thanks
