Do I get alimony/spousal support from 5 yr marriage. My husband earns over $120K and I am a student.

Possibly. For a VERY SHORT TIME. You need to get a job and support yourself.

You might get some very short term alimony...but it would be very short term. You would also be entitled to 1/2 of the marital assets that accrued during the marriage, and would be responsible for 1/2 of the marital debts.

Does debt taken on credit card and given to his brother count?(25k)

Are you saying that he took 25k of advances on credit cards and then loaned/gave the money to his brother? Its possible that you could make him 100% responsible for that particular debt.

However, if your name is on the debt, that lender may still legally hold you legally liable, as a borrower to whom they agreed to extend credit.
