What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)?
I would appreciate a straight answer for this. In the court order it states that both parents are allowed communication with the child without parental interference in reasonable hours. It doesn't specifically state what days of week or what time, just that it is to be allowed.
My ex only has my boyfriends cell phone # and my home phone. He is continually bothering my boyfriend's phone asking when well be home for him to talk to my son. My boyfriend works alot so he gets in trouble with these constant bothering. My ex will call his cell phone every day and ask to speak to my son when he knows my boyfriend is at work. Finally my boyfirend had to tell him to stop bothering him and to just call the home phone. Now he is constantly bothering the home phone that we want to call for harrassment charges. Every time he calls, my son is busy doing homework or busy with chores so he is unable to talk. Yes we have said that my son will call back but by that time it's too late. Now he is threatening contempt. Can i be in contempt for my son being to busy during the times he calls?
Also, many times when we exchange, we will tell my ex that my son needs to call me. Finally after waiting i end up having to text my ex asking why my son hasnt called. he tells me because my son is busy playing or doesnt want to. Can i get him in contempt as well?
