What is the name of your state? Az, a friend of mine recently moved to arizona, well come to find out he has 3 outstanding warrants, from 3 states, ohio,california,georgia, all DUIs. I already told him he needed to take care of these, and also told him he wasnt welcome at my home with warrants, anyway he is staying in a motel, and I'm wondering if he was arrested here, would thos states extradite him on these dui, thank youWhat is the name of your state?Also could these cases be handled without him appearing in all these states courts, could an attorney deal with these problems

You have a DUI arrest w/ vehicular assault (someone says their back hurts) so the prosecutor goes full tilt and charges a few felonies. You move to another state and take the bus everywhere you go. If you manage to stay out of trouble, will you ever be found? Will authorities go to your address? Will they show up at your job?

If you have 3 DUI's, it isn't likely that you will stay out of trouble for long.

Can the authorities actively pursue you? Yes.
Will they? Depends on funding.

Who said anything about 3 DWIs? I just wanted to know if they're gonna show up at your job or just wait for you to get pulled over.

They will usually wait until they come onto contact with you. this could be at your job or elsewhere. They will arrest you and hold you for a few weeks to allow the issuing state time to pick you up. If they do not, you will likely be released, though many will have lost their job. They will continue to arrest and detain you, each time they come into contact.

this is why I described a situation wherein the fugitive takes public transportation. I also understand that a potential employer may do a background check on you. Does this check alert authorities of your new address? Would they have the employer call you in to a trap?

I know this all sounds crazy, but I'd really like to know...

It depends on which "authorities" are looking for you. The chances of you outs******g multiple police departments and staying out of trouble for the remainder of your life are zero.

EURAPIKE said something productive. Who cares if the thread is old? And you guys have no reason to insult me. I'm just asking questions. I thought that's what this site was for.

I simply wanted to know if authorities typically check payrolls and track a guy down, or if they simply wait for the fugitive to be pulled over. I know they'll go to great lengths to find a murderer, etc. Locate IP addresses, crack open old hard drives, etc...I just wanted to know the lengths they'll go for a guy with a DWI...
