What is the name of your state?nj

Is there a law that states that a physician must see you in a certain amount of time in order to call in perscriptions for you

I don't know if it's a law or not, but no physician who cares about his license is going to call in a prescription for someone he hasn't seen recently unless he and that patient go WAY back and he knows the situation very well.

On the other side of the coin, there's also no law requiring a doctor to prescribe medication if he's not seen you recently.

For scheduled drugs controled substances) yes, there absolutely are state and federal laws on how recently you must have been seen to get a refill from the doctor and or have it dispensed by a pharmacy.
