State Trooper (Owego Town Court) wrote me traffic ticket yesterday morning at 8:54 AM. That ticket stated that I did 80 mph in 65 mph zone. I am from Pennsylvania and was returning home from 3 days vacation (Corning and Watkins Glen). State Trooper used Stalker Dual Radar.

It's impossible to answer that. There's no magic thing we can tell you that you can say in court that will make the ticket go away. If it matters to you, the best bet is to have an attorney look at the evidence against you.

The good news is that PA won't give points for out of state speeding tickets.

Points are only one aspect. If the OP's insurance carrier finds out about the conviction it'll still cost him.

If I will take New York Defensive Driving Course that may reduce my points up to 4. According of my ticket I may get 4 points for speed from 11 to 20..

I am reading FAQ fro that web site that offering
New York Defensive Driving Course

https://www.newyorksafetycouncil.com/defensive-driving-faqs.aspx

Does this course qualify for point reduction and insurance premium reduction?
Yes. This course will reduce your point total by up to four points, depending on when the points were assessed. It will also give you a mandatory 10% automobile insurance discount for 3 years.

I am taking similar each 3 years in my state to reduce insurance premiums.

so in my case it does not matter what kind of plea will enter: guilty or not guilty I will still get some points?

Points do not get eliminated by taking a class. Points do not go away and convictions do not get erased by taking a class.

I don't know or care about what the online documents say. When I check someone's driving record who has taken the class the convictions and points are still there.

The ONLY difference the class makes as far as points are concerned is that if you accumulate enough points for a suspension, your suspension gets deferred because you took the class. The points themselves do not go away.

I don't know why people get hung up on points - they mean nothing to anyone except the DMV.

So according to your explanation (and taking consideration that I am out of state of NY) that is really does not matter for me how many point I will get. That only will be fee (right now) associated with such points. If they reduce the charge that will not total eliminate my charge, from 4 to 3 but not all way to 0.

I understand the rest about my insurance company...

I'm just curious - nowhere do you deny the speeding. So why shouldn't you take the consequences you've earned?

And a NY DDC is going to have no effect on his Pennsylvania license (which isn't getting the points anyhow).

And yes, your insurance company is likely going to hear about it anyway (whether you take driving school or not).
