citations no dogs

I live in Texas. In August i received citations on my door that i had dog that did not have tags, no immunizations, no license, and dogs running at large. I was given a court date that I didn't go to. Then I received an arraignment date. My 16 year old stated that a officer took pictures of the dogs in the cage in my house. I do not the have dogs. I cant take off work. should I have to go to court, and will there be a warrant for my arrest.

You can expect that if you continue to ignore it that there is a good possibility the court will issue a warrant for your arrest, if it hasn't already done that. Since you had an arraignment date that means this is a criminal matter, not a civil enforcement problem. Skipping arraignment usually results in a bench warrant for the defendant's arrest. If arrested, you'll be held until you are arraigned and bail set. If you don't make bail, you sit in jail. It'd be better for you to work out appearing in court on this without being arrested and made to sit in jail until the arraignment is set up. You might be able to do that without missing much work. If you get arrested and sit in jail you could miss a lot more work. I suggest you see an attorney for help on this. It isn't going to get better by waiting, but it could get worse.

Understand, going to court when you have criminal charges is not optional. As far as the judge is concerned HE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT PERSON in your life and you're expected to follow his orders. It takes priority over work, vacation plans, child visitation, etc...

Get yourself to an attorney. There's some chance the attorney can head this off, but frankly, if you blow off appearances, your options are pretty limited.

I'm not sure how an officer could have taken photos of a dog you don't have, or why your 16yo would tell you that happened Unless, you had the dog, but then gave it up...

In terms of a warrant.... The court will likely issue a bench warrant, which they will eventually get around to serving. Be aware that serving on a jury, renewing a license and/or voting will likely flag you in the system. And they will pick you up. So you might want to take care of things before that happens.

Looking at the original posting you say you received citations for no tags, no immunization, no license and dogs running at large.
I assume is was the local animal control who issued the citations, and the only way that animal control could possibly know about all those shortcomings is because they captured the dog who was running at large and took it to the pound.
