Contact the court named on the summons and see if there is a case. You may be able to do it online,

Is you tennis partner going to pay any judgement placed against you for not showing up?

fellas plz .... no troll here ... if anyone in IL wanna help .... i did nothing the apartment was fine,,, he suing for $2,500 but all it needed was a $200 professional cleaning job, i never had parties i only had my parents over 1 time and my tennis partner over 1 time for 10 minutes

Look - You have NOT been properly served, but if the other party lies and says that you have been, then a default judgment will be entered against you. Looking at it, I'm not sure where the $200 you claim it will cost you comes from. You may (and will likely) still be officially served. Even if you are not, you should show up at the date and time and place given.
