fella sent me the court summons from his own website and when i clicked the link he was able to see i downloaded the summons pdf. he made it completely look legit

do i have to show up? and isn't that computer fraud? i can send images if u dm me

If there is a case against you then it would behoove you to show up.
Please don't start another thread on the same topic - use this one since you gave more information.
 
illinois .... seems like computer fraud... .and then i have to pay $200 just to go 1v1 vs him infront of judge? what happened to innocent until proven guilty?
 
fellas plz .... no troll here ... if anyone in IL wanna help .... i did nothing the apartment was fine,,, he suing for $2,500 but all it needed was a $200 professional cleaning job, i never had parties i only had my parents over 1 time and my tennis partner over 1 time for 10 minutes

Look - You have NOT been properly served, but if the other party lies and says that you have been, then a default judgment will be entered against you. Looking at it, I'm not sure where the $200 you claim it will cost you comes from. You may (and will likely) still be officially served. Even if you are not, you should show up at the date and time and place given.
