Rental car full insurance coverage .. will it cover smoking in the car

What is the name of your state? Rental will be in Florida

The rental insurance will cover kids having a food fight and melting ice cream into the seats requiring a steam cleaning and total wipe down (according to the agent on the phone). Will the full insurance cover smoking in the car which would require the same cleaning effort? I think the key here might be that they say "no smoking in the car" but don't say "no kids making a mess". Covered by the full insurance or not?

How do you expect anybody here to know? We can't read your rental car paperwork, which is where your questions should be addressed.

Why don't you ask the rental company? Your question is hardly a legal one. We don't know what your rental contract says.

I can't see any insurance covering a deliberate violation of the rules.
