I am not even sure of the reason for that forum category. It might be better replaced by an animal law category or something similar.

Many years ago, before my time, the forum only had one forum for all family law issues. There were no sub-forums. When they created the sub-forums they closed the family law forum and archived the posts so that they could still be read, but no more posting could be done in that forum. For some reason, it is now allowing postings to be made.
