I live in Michigan.

My mother keeps opening my Mail. Most of it is stuff from the bank. I am 21 years old and live at home. I have asked her to stop multiple times but she keeps doing it and continues to use the information found in the letters to harass and abuse me. I have autism and anxiety but i want to make clear she is in no way my legal guardian. I am wondering if its worth suing as I don't think she is going to stop if i continue to ask.

Get a PO box at the local post office.

EDIT: To be clear, what she is doing is not right, but legal action won't solve anything.

I echo this advice. Get a PO Box and change your address on everything to the PO Box.

I take it you live with your mother? If so, move.
