Massachusetts. The president of our local was fired for violating company policy ( fighting with another employee). My question is, how can he perform his union duties, as its president, if he has been banned from the premises. Our bylaws are silent as is our international bylaws. Is he automatically replaced by the Vice president? He claims he is still the president until the arbitration is resolved. Anyone have any thoughts on this scenario?
