I am an employee in the state of Washington. I work for a Global company (HQ in Dallas, TX). The company I work for does not "cash-out" earned and unused vacation time to employees who resign (even if they provide the customary 2+ week notice), nor do they allow the employee to use that vacation or personal time during their last 2 weeks. In essence, the minute you submit your resignation, you lose your earned vacation and personal time. Is this legal?

Legal?? Yes.
Good for employee moral? No.

Also, this issue of vacation on termination (voluntary or not) has been discussed several times on this forum. I would suggest you do a search for specific answers.
