What is the name of your state (only U.S. law)? TEXAS

currently I am on F2 Visa and wanted to appear for the Driving License test. But unfortunately the officer at DPS / DMV was unable to find my immigration details. SO he sent a request to immigration (i guess .. it is US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Department) department for further verification to get Legal Presence letter / lawful presence letter. It's been 2 weeks, still i did not get any letter from US Immigartion and Customs Enforcement.

Please please help me out on how to proceed further on this.

There isn't anything you can do but wait now. Obviously, without being able to obtain verification of your legal status, you won't be able to get the driver's license.

You should have your visa papers to show to the DPS officer. If not, perhaps you can get them from your spouse or parent, the holder of the F1 visa?
