hello. i really need to know the answer to this question: in georgia, if i move out of my parents house at 17 without their permission, can they file any sort of charges against me(like a runaway) ?
i am graduating this semester(in may) at 16 and in july i will turn 17. i really want to take a break for a year and figure out what i want to do. my parents want me to go to college immediately but i really just want to be on my own for a while. im not trying to rebel or be like **** you or anything like that to my parents. they just dont understand why i dont want exactly what they want for me.
please only respond if you are %100 sure that you are correct. im not trying to b an ass but yeah... i definitely do not want to get arrested. thanks.

I am 100% certain that the youngest age at which you can be CERTAIN that you cannot be forced to return home is 18.
